I’ve had my laptop sticker for more than six months now and was planning on changing it to a new design. I find these stickers very attractive and there are times when I would have a hard time deciding on which design to pick. I collect numerous designs and sizes of notebook skins and have used a number of them as well. They come in different prices and sometimes purchasing a more expensive one lasts longer than others. Being a fan of these stickers, I decided to post a few facts about them.
- Notebook skins are actually a decorative piece of vinyl with an adhesive layer on the underside and the layer ensures that the sticker stays fastened on the cover, which also results in making your computer look brand new.
- Due to injection of certain chemicals, high quality laptop skins can withstand extreme heat or cold, chemical corrosion and radiation. They are also resistant to tear, sunlight-fade and water.
- High resolution image technology is used to render exceptional color density in good quality laptop skins and also show photo-realistic image quality.
Laptop skins in general have robust handling qualities which make them ideal for protecting laptops from scratches. They also come in different finishes with varnish and lamination being the most common one. The lamination layer in some inferior quality notebook skins can come off in six months or less, like what’s happening with mine, so it’s best to invest in a more costly one.
